- FARM MANAGER
Job Description
The qualify applicant will be responsible for overseeing daily operations and managing the farm’s resources to achieve optimal production and profitability. The Manager will also be responsible for overseeing and training the farm supervisors and farm attendants, identifying agricultural trends and best practices, and implementing new strategies to improve farm efficiency and output.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Agricultural Science, or related fields
- Proven experience in large-scale farming operations and farm management
- Strong knowledge of crop and livestock management, harvesting, irrigation, and pest control
- Experience with agricultural machinery, equipment, and tools
- Knowledge of accounting, finance, and budgeting, as well as experience with procurement and logistics
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to train other farm supervisor and farm attendants.
- Ability to analyze data and trends to make informed decisions and implement new strategies for continuous improvement
- Experience with sustainable agriculture practices is a plus
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment, and a willingness to work flexible hours as needed
- PROGRAM OFFICER
This full-time, on-site Project Officer role is located in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State and involves managing specific projects, coordinating all aspect from planning to execution. Other responsibilities include developing project proposals, plans, setting objectives, managing budgets, liaising with stakeholders, overseeing timeline and evaluating outcomes.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as business administration, project management, social sciences, or a related area.
- Previous experience in project management, preferably in a non-profit setting. Experience with grant management, fundraising, or volunteer coordination.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential. Able to adept at multitasking, problem-solving, and managing deadlines. Proficiency in project management tools and software is required.
- Understanding of the non-profit sector, including its challenges, funding sources, and regulatory requirements. Knowledge of relevant areas such as community development, environment, social services, or advocacy.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues, volunteers, and external partners to achieve project goals.
- Flexibility and adaptability are crucial in the non-profit sector, as projects may evolve rapidly in response to changing needs or circumstances.

- Farm Attendants
Job Description
- Experience in Livestock, Crop and Oil palm production and processing.
- Any other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Recruitment Standard
- Minimum qualification of an SSCE or its equivalent.
- Experience in livestock and crop farming and processing
- Understanding of Nursery planting and seed sowing, irrigation, intercultural operations, fertilizer/chemical application and harvesting.
- Ability to communicate in English Language.
